There are seven ways to maintain LCD screens

Many people will install numerous LCD screens in their houses, while some people still use the old black and white TVs. Naturally, the maintenance procedure for each model will vary, therefore the editor will instruct you on how to keep and maintain the LCD panel.

1. Strictly avoid static electricity

The control and drive circuits of the module are low-voltage, micro-power CMOS circuits, which are easily damaged by static electricity. Be careful not to be reckless since electrostatic breakdown is a type of irreparable damage.

Because of this, care should be given during setup, operation, and use, and static electricity must be strictly avoided. In order to achieve this, the soldering iron used for welding must be properly grounded and must not leak. If direct contact # TFT 1.77 SPI # is required, the human body and the module should also be properly grounded, or the hand should be in contact with the faucet or the metal frame of the console to discharge.

2. Taking care of the protective film

The display surface of the finished module has a protective film attached to it to prevent contamination during assembly; it should not be removed until the entire machine has been put together to prevent contamination or damage to the display surface.

3. Add padding

In order to prevent distortion during assembly, the panel # display LCD TFT # should be kept flat and a pad of about 0.1 mm should be added between the module and the front panel.

4.Welding

The following guidelines should be followed when welding the module's exterior leads and interface circuits.

Avoid letting solder leak onto the LCD screen's circuit board while soldering to prevent a short circuit from causing the panel to show improperly.

eutectic, low melting point welding material; soldering iron temperature: 280°C–10°C; welding time: 3–4 s; maximum number of repetitions: 3;

Please make sure the LCD # 1.77 inch TFT # module has passed the quality inspection beforehand if the connection between the LCD module and other peripheral circuits needs to be welded or the original connector changed;

Avoid physically causing harm to the PCB and 1.77-inch LCD screen because otherwise it will be beyond repair.

5. Assembly-related safety precautions

To prevent electromagnetic interference and outside noise, the installation hole must be grounded; the metal frame claws must not be bent or disassembled at will; the PCB board's shape, assembly holes, circuits, and components must not be altered at will; the conductive rubber strips must not be altered at will; any internal brackets, the moving module, the backlight part, etc. must not be altered at will;

Please do not process or cut the LCD module # vertical LCD screen # by yourself as it has been thoughtfully designed and constructed.

6. Module storage

We advise the following for long-term storage (i.e., several years):

Seal the mouth of a polyethylene bag (ideally one with an anti-static coating) to contain it; Always store it away from excessive temperatures and humidity (for liquid crystals, polarizers are terrified of high temperatures and humidity), position it in a dark area to avoid bright light, and never set anything on the surface.

7. How to utilize and maintain the module

Incorrect connections of the liquid crystal module's outer leads could result in overcurrent and overvoltage damage, which could harm the module's components;

The display response is extremely slow when the module # high brightness LCD # is used below the defined working temperature range, and the complete display # 24 pin LCD display # surface will display a full display state when the module is used above the specified working temperature range. Just restore to the designated range if this occurrence persists to rule out module damage. Everything will revert to normal within the temperature range. (It must not be used or kept at a temperature higher than the storage limit. If the temperature is too high, the crystal will turn into an isotropic liquid, and if the liquid crystal state is lost, the function of the liquid crystal device is also lost; if the temperature is lower than the crystallization temperature, the liquid will crystallize, destroying the orientation layer and making the device useless.

The signal level can only be input once the positive power supply (50.25V) is stably connected, regardless of whether the module is connected to the power supply or not. The IC and other circuits in the module could be harmed if the signal level is input before the power supply stabilizes or after it has been unplugged;

Temperature and driving voltage have a significant impact on the dot matrix liquid crystal module's contrast ratio and viewing angle. Therefore, if the VEE is set too high, it would not only impair the 1.5-inch TFT display but also reduce the module's useful life;

Wipe any water droplets off the 1.77 inch TFT screen as soon as possible. Continual exposure to water droplets will result in color or spot changes on the screen;

To avoid neighboring pin pipelines, don't hit the IC on the PCB on the back of the module;

A high brightness display and a bespoke TN LCD will result from firmly pressing the display component. At this point, switch off the power supply, wait a little, and then turn it back on to get things back to normal.
